Happy Halloween! Have you ever found such a great deal, that you think to yourself "Is this a trick?" I know I do, especially when you find something that sounds to good to be true...I have found a few places that never fail to give me a good bargain. They give me a TREAT, instead of a trick! Old Navy, outlets, Nordstrom Rack, dollar stores and consignment stores are my go-to places when I am trying to find a great bargain. Here are the latest items I found:

Old Navy
This store is the best when you are looking for basic pieces, like t's, and sweaters. There are times you even get lucky and find trendy pieces. Visit an outlet center, and you get them for even less $

These t's are only $5, and you can find them in a
variety of colors and shades
Sweater - Green $18

Blouse - Leopard Print $18

Nordstrom Rack
This store is THE best place to find shoes at almost half the price, as well fragrances and other beauty products.
 These color-blocked Free Press heels
are $49 and they had other colors!
These Calvin Klein's costs $60,
almost half the original price!

You can find a good size selection of fragrances, like Chloe and YSL. These set me back about $25 a piece

The Rack also carries great beauty products, like this lash adhesive for $5.97, other retailers sell them for $8-10

Dollar stores
I am taking courses to get my make-up certificate, and the instructor filled me in on a secret...get your false lashes from the dollar store. They are the same quality as the ones you find for $6 at other stores.

Consignment stores
These are my favorite places, because you can find designer items for so much less then retail or ebay prices. I trust them more than thrift stores and even some online sellers, where authentication is not guaranteed. I found this Louis Vuitton messenger bag at a shop in Carmel, CA for a great price. Check it out and visit your local store for a great treat!

Summer meets Autumn

Today was one of those days where the weather couldn't decide if it wanted to be warm or cold...so I headed out with shorts on, but grabbed a blazer (just in case). I am so glad I did because it turned out to be kinda chilly at certain times of this lovely day. So Summer and Autumn meet, and they create this outfit of the day! I have fall colors, in summer styles. This is a great way to dress for these odd weather days. You could even pair it with some boots or throw on a nice scarf! However you decide to dress for these days, always remember the lovely friendship that Summer and Autumn have...xoxo
p.s. Check back tomorrow as I will share some great finds at a low price, I will have a haul and everything! Don't miss it!

Rain, Rain...DON'T go away!

Finally we got some real Autumn weather today! It allowed me to wear a warm & comfy sweater, my favorite jeans and booties. Let's hope this is just the beginning to a cool down in So. Cal. I mean what is the point to getting a great fall wardrobe, if you can't wear it because it's to hot! LOL Here are pics of my outfit of the day.
Enjoy xoxo

American Apparel Flea Market Haul

This past Sunday I checked out the American Apparel Flea Market at their downtown L.A. warehouse. The sale is everyday, and will run until October 31st. The sale promises 40-50% off retail prices. They have men's, women's, kids and even dog clothes! My suggestion is to visit in the morning, during the week or on Sunday. I was told that Saturday is not the best day as it is overcrowded and at least a 2 hour line to enter the sale. I am so sad to say that I was not impressed with the sale, as most of the garments were overpriced, some damaged and a bit disorganized. I was expecting to find huge savings, but some of the women's clothes was retail (not even close to flea market prices). I found a few things and included pics and a haul (down below) to give you more details. If you decide to go, my suggestion is to get accessories, dresses and men's clothes. Dress in leggings and a cami, as there aren't any dressing rooms. Please share your experience if you decide to go or if you have already made a visit! xoxo

Fall'n For These Colors

Isn't it great when fall comes around and you could finally wear the dark nail polishes, like one of my favorites "O.P.I. Lincoln Park After Dark" (LUV)...I have always been a loyal fan of O.P.I. but I thought why not try out a few different brands this year. I am so glad I did as I discovered Zoya, which is natural and doesn't have any of the bad stuff. Don't get me wrong, I will still wear O.P.I., but it is refreshing to know there are healthier alternatives. I also found the Sally Hansen Salon Effects' Limited Edition Halloween strips! They have a few different designs to chose from, find out which one I picked out below...

Colors L2R: Sephora by O.P.I. Black Swan Collection, Zoya Petra, Zoya Anja, O.P.I. I brake for manicures, O.P.I. Midnight in Moscow

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Kitty, Kitty 320 & Frock Star 210
These two are perfect for the fall and holidays (think New Year's) and Limited Edition Halloween Ghoulie Girl

My Vintage Affair

As I walked in, I could feel my heart beating faster and the excitement begins to build up...am I doing something naughty? Will I get away with it? I am talking about my affair with vintage stores. There is this excitement of knowing you are going to find a gem, a piece you know you won't see on anybody else and for such a great deal! I mean it is as if you are stealing it (not really, but you know what I mean). My trip to the Pomona Antique Row today was wonderful, I found two awesome pieces (see pics below). I just had to dress up in something special for my rendez-vous with vintage!
